I first met this knucklehead at work. Realizing we lived a few country blocks apart we started hanging out. I was the guys that drank a lot, ate what I wanted, and didn't care about working out. He tried for about a year to get me to come to morning workouts with the guys, hoping I would get my act together and get my health in check.

I cannot tell you what made me finally go and show up that first day, but I do know what kept me going back . . . . I did not want to disappoint my friend and new coach. He helped me start to workout on a very scaled back version of what they did daily and just 1 year later i was down 100 lbs and working out side by side with these real stud athletes. One thing I can say about Scott is that he can change the way you think about your abilities! When I began working with the Telford Tree Farm I was postpartum from my third child. I was in a rut with my workout routine and didn't know what to do. My husband had been working with him for a year doing really hard work and seeing results. So when a ladies group was discussed I jumped at the chance! I was extremely nervous about it but that quickly went away and my inner bad ass came out. The work I have done with Scott has been incredible. Angie from 3 years ago wouldn't believe it! He pushes you for sure, but he also makes you believe that you CAN do hard things!

I met Scott in September 2011. He was Coaching at a gym I just joined after finishing an Ironman Triathlon. I was 40 years old, 178 lbs, and the only part of my body that was developed were my legs from that race. He quickly and jokingly pointed out my imbalances and made some sort of "chicken arms" remark.
I liked him immediately!

We became fast friends and have trained together for over 10 years now. He has helped coach me through competitions, written specific event programming, and been an unwavering teammate for multiple grueling endurance events. We have bonded through blood, sweat, tears, and beers!
In early 2020 training through the Tree Farm became my exclusive regimen.
Looking back I have put on over 20 lbs of muscle, leaned out, and discovered the 2 important aspects which Scott pushes that allowed me to make these changes.

Now at 53 years old I am performing, feeling, and looking better than I ever have. The secret is you have to be consistent with a program that doesn't suck.

I cannot say enough about the experience I have had since I signed on for Scott to be my coach and wellness mentor. In a moment of my lowest point (highest weight, lowest self esteem) I asked if he was willing to lead a chunky moms program so I could start making the progress he already had my husband making.
